How do I enroll my children?

A parent or guardian must fill out a registration form. The application will be reviewed and students will be accepted based on criteria qualifications. A member from our team will contact you whether your student meets the qualifications and what the next steps are.  

What are the criteria for children to qualify?
  • Enrollment procedures for New Horizons of SWFL programs are non-preferential. Students are enrolled based on points received from the below criteria. Depending on when the application was submitted, current club capacity and grade level of student; the highest points within each grade level have first priority.
  • Once a club or grade level is at full enrollment, students are put on a waitlist. When an opening is identified, students are enrolled from the waitlist by highest points for the grade level in which the opening occurs.
  • Criteria: Income level, Underperforming in school, English as a Second Language in the home, Parent’s education level (graduated from high school or received a GED), Siblings in program, Single Parent Household
Is transportation provided?

Students attending our designated schools will receive transportation from the school to the club site. Additionally, families who live within the bus route will receive transportation from the club to home, all others will need to pick up their child at the club site. Transportation routes are subject to change depending on enrollment and program needs.
